Why Ceramic Coating?

What a professional coating actually does for your paint, and why it is worth it.

UV & Oxidation Protection

Blocks the sun from fading and oxidising your paint, especially on flat panels like the roof and bonnet that take the most punishment.

Hydrophobic Finish

Water beads straight off, carrying dirt and grime with it. Far less washing, and your car dries cleaner with fewer water spots.

Lasts 2 to 5 Years

Properly applied ceramic outlasts wax (about 3 months) and sealants (about a year) many times over. Protection you set and forget.

Protects Resale Value

A car with sharp, unfaded paint sells for more. Ceramic keeps that showroom look for the long haul, which pays off at sale time.

Deeper, Glossier Finish

Ceramic amplifies gloss and depth, giving your paint a wet-look shine that wax simply cannot match.

Easier to Clean

Bugs, bird droppings and road grime struggle to bond to the coating. A quick rinse keeps it looking fresh between washes.

The Water Beading Test

Drag the slider. On ceramic-coated paint water pulls into tight beads and rolls straight off, carrying dirt with it. On untreated paint it sheets out flat, clings and soaks in, leaving streaks and water spots.

Our Ceramic Coating Process

How we get a coating that lasts for years, not one that seals swirl marks in.

01

Decontamination Wash

We strip the paint back with a thorough wash and claybar treatment, lifting embedded contaminants a normal wash leaves behind.

02

Paint Correction

Single or multi-stage cut & polish removes swirl marks and oxidation, so the coating bonds to flawless paint, not over the damage.

03

Ceramic Application

The coating is applied by hand in thin, even layers in our temperature-controlled bay, then left to cure for 24 to 48 hours.

04

Cure & Aftercare

You collect your car with a written aftercare guide and the pH-neutral shampoo it needs to keep the coating performing for years.

Walk-ins welcome. Bookings recommended for premium services.

Just took my vehicle in for an Ultimate Detail and was blown away by how good the car looked. Reminded me of when I brought it off the lot. 190,000km and you would not be able to tell.

Super easy to deal with, from front desk to receiving the car back. The grooming job on my jeep is exceptional. It was grubby inside and out, now it has a showroom finish.

Ceramic Coating FAQ

Everything Hamilton drivers ask before booking ceramic.

How much does ceramic coating cost in Hamilton?

Ceramic coating is quoted per vehicle because the prep work varies with your paint's condition. Most jobs sit between $700 and $1,800 depending on size and whether paint correction is needed first. Get a free quote and we will walk you through exactly what your car needs.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Properly applied ceramic coating lasts between 2 and 5 years. Longevity depends on the product used, whether your car lives outside, and how often it is washed with the right pH-neutral shampoo.

Do I need a cut & polish before ceramic?

Most cars do. Ceramic locks in whatever finish is already there, so any swirl marks or oxidation get sealed underneath the coating. A cut & polish removes those imperfections first so the ceramic goes on a perfect surface.

How do I look after a ceramic coated car?

Use pH-neutral shampoo when washing and avoid drive-through car washes, as the brushes scratch through the coating over time. Top up with a ceramic-safe quick detailer every few washes. We provide full aftercare instructions on pickup.

Is ceramic coating worth it?

For anyone keeping a car beyond a few years, yes. Ceramic is the most cost-effective way to preserve paint and resale value. The cost amortises across years of easier cleaning and paint that does not oxidise or fade.
